The NO HAZ Consortium requests that volunteers be aged 16 and over please. The consortium also requests that all volunteers are able to commit at least 3 hours to the collection event.
As a volunteer what will I be asked to do?
The NO HAZ program continues to grow at a rapid rate so volunteers should expect to be very busy during their time at a collection. Volunteers are not responsible for the handling of any of the hazardous materials at the collection event. A professionally licensed company is contracted to handle all household hazardous waste materials collected.
Volunteer assigned tasks include:

Greeting residents and distributing registration forms
*
Traffic Control
*
Checking residential ID and collecting forms
*
Collecting donations
In the past NO HAZ volunteers have included concerned citizens/citizen group, elected officials, collegiate environmental clubs, and high school students.
High School Students! Take advantage of this excellent opportunity to work volunteer hours for National Honor Society or for other students take this chance to have a great volunteer experience to list on college applications. Please remember any student requesting to volunteer must be age 16 and over.
All volunteers will receive a complimentary lunch and also their very own NO HAZ t-shirt (while supplies last)!!
